Our story routes back to a little boy spending time in the kitchen watching other people cook and pound some flavourful masalas. 

With the growing numbers in Konaar mess, grew his passion. Mr Anjappan started his first restaurant located in Royapettah, Chennai in the year 1964 with the blessings of Sri M G Ramachandran, a well-renowned actor.

Starting with a single outlet and now serving 48 outlets in India and over  45 outlets spread across 20 countries, we are proud to call ourselves the world’s largest chain of Chettinad Restaurants.
